Child, 4, bitten by dog in Bensalem, Pa.

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 4-year-old child is hospitalized after being bitten by a dog in Bucks County.

The incident was reported just before 3 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Tennessee Avenue.

Police say the child was bitten in the head.

The child was taken to the hospital. There was no word on the victim's condition.

Bensalem Police are investigating.
