LANSDALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman is expected to survive after being hit by a SEPTA train tonight in Lansdale, Montgomery County.

Police say the woman was struck around 7:30 p.m. by an outbound Lansdale-Doylestown train.

She was conscious while being treated at the scene.

Train service in the area was temporarily suspended while police investigated.
