Upper Darby step closer to medical marijuana dispensary

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Upper Darby Township has given the go-ahead to a proposed medical marijuana dispensary in the Fernwood section.

Chamounix Ventures Incorporated will be allowed to set up at 622 Industrial Park Drive.

The application to occupy the space is approved, however, the license to sell medical marijuana is still pending.

The state is still in the process of accepting applications.
