Standoff with police ends peacefully in Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a standoff with a person in Phoenixville, Pa. has ended peacefully.

The situation began before 7 a.m. Friday.

Chopper 6 was over the intersection of North and Penn streets, where a person was barricaded inside a home.

Police officers and a SWAT team remained on the scene for several hours before Action News was told the situation had been resolved.

There was no word what led to the standoff.

No injuries were reported.
