3 people hurt in Poconos ambulance crash

STROUDSBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Three people were hurt when an ambulance went off a road in the Poconos and rolled down an embankment.

It happened on Route 33 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

State police say the injuries are not serious.

This was one of the many areas that were hit with strong morning thunderstorms and heavy downpours. It is not clear if that played a role in the accident.
