Suspects sought for vandalizing soccer field in Ridley Park

RIDLEY PARK (WPVI) -- A community in Delaware County is upset after a person damaged a youth soccer field.

Officials say the turf at Catania Field on Chester Pike in Ridley Park was torn up by a vehicle on Friday night.

Ridley United Soccer Club is offering a $1,000 reward for the prosecution of the person or people responsible.

Good Samaritans pledged to help repair the damage after hearing of it on the club's Facebook page.
