DALLAS, TX. (WPVI) -- A big debut for a tiny creature at the Dallas Zoo took place Thursday.

The newest Western Lowland Gorilla made its public debut after being quietly delivered on June 25.

The Western Lowland Gorilla is considered to be critically endangered.

Zoo officials still don't know whether it's a boy or a girl.

The baby's mom is named Hope, and it's her second baby.

It's the first born at the zoo in 20 years.
