ARDEN, Del. (WPVI) -- A deer needed some help Saturday afternoon in Arden, New Castle County, Delaware.

Officials say the deer managed to fall into an abandoned well and became trapped.

Claymont Firefighters along with numerous other agencies responded to help free the stuck deer.

Officials with the Wilmington Zoo tranquilized the deer so crews could get to work.

The deer is sleeping off the tranquilizer, and is expected to be okay.
