Dog owners are happier than cat owners, study finds

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new study finds dog owners are happier than cat owners.

Researchers at the University of Chicago say 36% of dog owners reported being very happy, compared to just 18% of cat owners.

Those who owned both fell somewhere in between.

The study also found that dog owners were slightly happier than those without any pets.
