A Florida man is fighting eviction over his emotional support pet - a squirrel.

Ryan Boylan and his pet Brutis are inseparable.

He rescued her last year after Hurricane Matthew.

Boylan says he fed her from a syringe for three weeks until she could open her eyes.

Now, he says he can't imagine life without her.

But, Boylan faces eviction because he never informed his condo association about Brutis.

Exotic animals are not allowed. He has been sent a notice to give up the squirrel or be evicted because she puts other residents at risk.

"I'm not sure how an animal that weighs less than two pounds can harm anybody," Boylan said.

Boyland claims Brutis is an emotional support animal and has shown condo management a doctor's note to prove it.
