Philadelphia police show off new explosive detection dogs
Philadelphia police show off new explosive detection dogs: Brian Taff reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on August 7, 2017.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two new officers will soon be joining the Philadelphia police department.

That fact, alone, might not normally make the news, but these recruits are adorable.

The police department tweeted out a photo of their new explosive detection dogs Monday, saying "No one likes Mondays, but everyone loves puppies."

Ralph, the lighter of the two, and George are currently living with a police officer while they go through training.

The department hasn't said when the K9s will be ready for paw patrol, but we can guarantee they'll be a hit when they hit the streets.
