The Animal Coalition of Delaware County has saved more than 2000 animals since their start in 2004.

Stephanie Swanton, President of says, "They rescue dogs, cats, and rabbits locally in the Philadelphia region. Our mission is to place those adoptable pets in permanent homes."

ACDC focuses on saving animals right here in Philadelphia.

"We can make a difference in our own community here by adopting locally. That's what we focus on. It's all about networking and communication to save that one more animal," said Swanton.

All of the animals receive training to make them more adoptable.
