Crossing guard dog helps kids safely cross the street

An adorable dog is giving his crossing guard owner a helping hand with the children each morning.

His name is Patches and he tags along with his owner to make sure the children are making it to school safely in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

When Brad Curtis raises the stop sign for traffic to stop, Patches walks with him and the children across the street.

The two have been doing this for two years now.

The kids, and their parents, love the idea.
