NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police rescued a dog that was left inside a hot car in Northeast Philadelphia.
Officers were called to the Walmart parking lot on the 4300 block of Byberry Road shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Arriving officers were able to get the dog out of the SUV and give it water.
After police talked to the dog's owner, animal control officers took possession of the dog.
No charges have been filed.
