LOS ANGELES -- Two family pets are getting credit for saving the life of their elderly owner.

Los Angeles resident Judy Muhe fell in her kitchen. The 76-year-old was in and out of consciousness and could not move for two days.

Muhe has Parkinson's disease, and the cold floor was potentially deadly to her.

Friends became worried after not hearing from her for several days, so they went to her house and found her dogs wrapped around her, keeping her warm.

"He laid up against my back, and Dodger laid on my feet and legs at the bottom," said Muhe. "Dodger kept nuzzling me with his nose and he was laying beside me. I don't know what I would have done without them."

She bruised her head and broke her shoulder, but Muhe is happy to be alive.

She says she knows her four-legged guardians would do it again if they needed to.
