Police report barricade situation in Olney

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A sizeable police operation turned up empty-handed in the Olney section of Philadelphia Wednesday night.

A 911 call reported a wanted suspect was barricaded inside a home on the 100 block of East Albanus Street.

SWAT teams with armored vehicles blocked off surrounding streets.

With guns trained on the building, officers cautiously escorted multiple people out of the residence.

Police said no one was arrested.

Officials would not say whether the suspect got away or was never inside.
