Man critical after being shot while walking down Broad Street

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 21-year-old man is in critical condition following an overnight shooting in North Philadelphia.

Police say he was walking on Broad Street near Erie Avenue when an unidentified man opened fire.

Officials say the victim was shot in the arm, but the bullet landed in his chest.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made.
