Car crashes into utility pole in Fairmount Park

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- A car crashed into a utility pole in Fairmount Park overnight, snapping it in half.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday on Belmont Avenue.

Due to the downed wires, authorities closed Belmont from Wynnefield Avenue to Montgomery Drive.

There's no word on if there were any injuries.
