Firefighters battle brush fire in Andorra

ANDORRA (WPVI) -- High winds gave firefighters trouble as they tried to control a brush fire in the Andorra section of Philadelphia.

The winds fanned the flames near Ridge and Northwestern Avenues.

The fire started around 5:30 p.m. Saturday and it took crews about an hour and a half to put it out.

A firefighter suffered minor injuries but is expected to be okay.

No other injuries were reported.
