3 cars collide, pedestrian struck in Tioga-Nicetown

HUNTING PARK -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a three vehicle crash that involved a pedestrian in TIOGA-Nicetown Saturday evening.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. at 19th Street and Hunting Park Avenue.

Police say a vehicle struck a man about 70-years-old, and while the driver was attending to the victim, another car hit that vehicle. A third car was also involved.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital with serious injuries.

There is no immediate word on his condition.
