Woman gives birth at Philadelphia International Airport departure gate

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pregnant woman arrived at the departure gate of Philadelphia International Airport this morning, but there was an unexpected delay.

The 27-year-old woman went into labor curbside.

Airport police put on their labor and delivery faces and got to work.

The infant was born in her SUV a little after 7:10 a.m. Sunday.

Mom and baby were taken to the University of Pennsylvania hospital where they are doing fine.
