Toymaker K'nex donates thousands worth of building sets to Girls Inc.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Several young ladies are letting their engineering imaginations soar thanks to a donation from local toymaker, K'nex.

The company's CEO donated nearly$53,000 dollars worth of building sets to the Philadelphia chapter of Girls Inc.

The sets were presented at the Friends Center in Center City on Saturday.

The donation is in line with the Girls Inc.'s mission to spark interest in STEM careers at a young age.
