Man shot and killed in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was gunned down in the city's Tioga-Nicetown section.

The 35-year-old victim was found on the 1600 block of Westmoreland Street just before midnight Friday.

Police say the victim was shot under his right arm.

The man was transported to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are questioning several witnesses, but no suspects have been arrested.
