PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter says the city is making progress toward increasing opportunity for men and boys of color.
He says My Brother's Keeper is changing lives and making a difference.
Known as MBK Philly, the initiative is part of a growing movement started by President Obama to increase racial equality in cities.
In December, Philadelphia will host a two day convention on the topic.
Mayor Nutter says there's still more progress to be made.
Nutter says his administration will sit down with incoming mayor Jim Kenney to talk about the role My Brother's Keeper will have in 2016.
