SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rapper Meek Mill may be in prison, but that's not stopping his record label from working on his behalf to make a difference in his hometown of Philadelphia.

Members of Unity in the Community partnered with Dream Chasers Records and Roc Nation to give away turkeys to less fortunate families.

The turkeys were delivered in four different locations.

Meek Mill is serving a two to four year sentence for violating his probation. His sentencing sparked controversy as some believe the sentencing was unfair.
