LOGAN (WPVI) -- A man was killed and an innocent bystander was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday morning in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a laundromat at Broad and Wingohocking streets.

A 22-year-old man died after being shot multiple times.

The bystander was apparently in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said the 39-year-old man, who lives in the area, was walking home when he was shot in the left ankle by stray gunfire.

It is unclear who wanted the 22-year-old man dead, or why.
