Man critical after being shot in Parkside

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after being shot in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

Gunfire erupted just after midnight Tuesday on the 5000 block of Master Street.

Police say the 24-year-old man was sitting in his car outside his apartment when he was shot at least three times.

The victim is expected survive.

Police have not said what prompted this shooting.
