CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was hit by a SEPTA bus Monday morning in Center City Philadelphia.

Officials say the Route 27 bus struck the pedestrian at the intersection of Broad and Vine streets just before 9:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim was taken to an area hospital.

The extent of that person's injuries was not immediately clear.

The crash remains under investigation.
