SUV overturns in crash on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Authorities are investigating a crash involving an overturned SUV on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the southbound lanes at Tyson Avenue.

Images from Chopper 6 HD showed a light-colored SUV lying on its roof in the middle of the intersection.

First responders were on the scene. Road crews were in the process of righting the SUV.

A dark-colored sedan with front-end damage was located a short distance away.

There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries.
