HOLMESBURG (WPVI) -- A driver has plowed through a fence at Curran-Fromhold Prison in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section, hitting employee's cars.

Philadelphia Police say the driver was traveling east on Rhawn Street, ran the light, and smashed through three sections of a 10-foot high wrought iron fence.

The driver continued through the parking lot, striking three parked cars.

An ambulance took the driver to the hospital after he suffered extensive cuts to his face.
