Mantua man murdered on front porch of home

MANTUA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia homicide detectives are searching for a suspect who fatally shot a man on his porch just inches from his front door.

Police say the suspect followed the 56-year-old victim as he returned home to the 800 block of North 41st Street in Mantua around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect then shot the victim at point-blank range.

The incident was all captured on surveillance video.

Police don't have an idea of the motive yet.
