Man injured while running from gunfire in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A man is recovering in the hospital after he was injured while running from gunfire in the city's Frankford section.

Philadelphia police say they found the victim on the 1700 block of Brill Street behind a chain linked fence.

The man was injured in the head while jumping the fence.

Police believe he was running from gunfire a few blocks away.

No other injuries were reported.
