Man sought for assault with piece of lumber in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for a man who used a piece of lumber to assault another man in South Philadelphia.

Police released surveillance video of the October 25 attack on Friday.

Investigators say the 59-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Snyder Avenue.

The suspect is seen pulling the piece of lumber from the back of his Nissan Frontier and striking the victim in the face.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is asked to contact police.
