Driver hurt in Southwest Philadelphia crash

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A driver was injured after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into a parked car in Southwest Philadelphia.

The crash happened at 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 5700 block of Essington Avenue.

Police say the force of the crash caused the parked car to flip onto its roof.

The driver was treated for minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
