Teen critical after shooting in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was shot Saturday afternoon in West Philadelphia.

Police responded around 1:45 p.m. to the 5300 block of Kershaw Street.

The teenager had been shot once in the back.

The 16-year-old was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

There is no word on what led to the shooting.
