Teenager recovering after being shot in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 15-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in North Philadelphia overnight.

Police say the teen was shot once in the back and hip.

The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday along the 1100 block of West Cumberland Street.

Police rushed the 15-year-old to Temple Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and there is no word on what led up to the shooting.
