Pickup truck crashes into part of bank

ANDORRA (WPVI) -- A pick-up truck crashed into part of a bank in Philadelphia's Andorra section.

It happened around 4:00 p.m. at the TD Bank near Henry Avenue and Cathedral Road.

The vehicle struck a pillar that holds up the roof to the teller booths.

Sources tell Action News that the driver and possibly a passenger got out and ran from the scene.

L&I was called in to check the safety of the structure.

The crash is under investigation.
