One night, 100 Bikes

WEST CHESTER, Pa, (WPVI) -- A West Chester remodeling firm spent the evening assembling one hundred bikes.

The "100 wheels project" is an initiative that started in 2008.

The bikes are put together and then donated to deserving children.

Organizers say the project gets bigger every year because the need is there.

Mike Dolan of Pine Street Carpenters agrees, "When we get feedback from the social service agencies that we partner with and they tell us the need they have and the impact that one little action has, its a tremendous feeling.

Since it's beginning the program has deliver over 530 bikes.
