Victim critical after playground shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- One victim is hospitalized after a shooting in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday at a playground at 7th and Pine streets,

Initial reports are the victim, believed to be in his late teens, was shot in the stomach.

The victim managed to run three blocks to 8th and Spruce before collapsing.

Medics responded and rushed the victim to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made, and no known motive.
