PNC Bank in Nether Providence robbed; suspect sought

NETHER PROVIDENCE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A PNC Bank branch in Nether Providence Township, Pa. was robbed on Saturday morning, and police are now looking for the suspect.

The robbery happened at 600 Baltimore Pike at 11:44 a.m.

Police say the man walked in and gave the teller a demand note while implying he had a gun.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, and was last seen getting into the passenger side of an older model (2002-2004) Nissan Altima, black in color, with a silver front grill and tinted windows.

The subject is described as a black male, approximately 6'2", slim build, dark skin, late 30's with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black hat and dark pants.
