Police: 2 shot on Newkirk Street in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in North Philadelphia Saturday night.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m. on the 3200 block of North Newkirk Street.

Police said two people were shot at that location.

Both were taken to Temple University Hospital. There is no word on their condition.
