Police investigate attempted robbery at Port Richmond 7-Eleven

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- Police say an armed man attempted to rob a 7-Eleven store on Aramingo Avenue and Westmoreland Street.

The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police believe he was in the store about 20 minutes prior to the armed robbery and then came back wearing a ski mask or scarf over his face.

The suspect was last seen running south on Aramingo Avenue.
