Police investigate suspicious shooting in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a suspicious overnight shooting in Southwest Philadelphia.

A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after police say he was shot in the stomach.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Greenway Avenue and Cemetery Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police tell Action News they found a ski mask in the shooting victim's car.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he underwent surgery.

No arrests have been made.
