PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 31-year-old man was rushed to Temple University hospital Sunday evening after police say he was stabbed in the head and arm.

Police tell Action News the stabbing happened in Philadelphia's Spring Garden section along the 1000 block of Brandywine Street just after 7:30 p.m.

The man is listed as stable.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect in the case.
