Police search for gunman in Southwest Philadelphia shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is recovering from being shot Wednesday night in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened on the 6500 block of Guyer Street.

Responding officers discovered the victim and transported him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.

No word on what led to the shooting.

Police are still searching for the gunman.
