ATLANTIC CITY (WPVI) -- Atlantic City's republican Mayor Don Guardian has accused Democrats of committing voter fraud to try to unseat him.

Guardian said during a news conference Friday, that the scheme involves absentee voter fraud to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, and has urged that office to investigate before Tuesday's election.

Guardian's Democratic opponent, City Council President Frank Gilliam, denied the allegations.

Gilliam said no one on his campaign would do anything illegal.
