Biden spotted in Wilmington amid rumors of presidential run

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- As speculation heats up about a possible presidential run for Vice President, Joe Biden was spotted spending time with family this weekend in Delaware.

Biden attended his granddaughter's cross-country meet Saturday in Wilmington.

The Vice President routinely spends weekends with his family, but rumors are swirling that he'll soon make a decision about a run for the White House.

Biden was trailed by at least one reporter who asked that very question but, not surprisingly, he didn't get much of an answer.

When questioned again by an onlooker, Biden simply said, "I'm eating a pretzel", and took a bite.

This past week, Biden's aides reportedly met with officials at the Democratic National Committee.

His announcement, one way or another, is likely to come after the first Democratic debate on Tuesday.
