North Wildwood, N.J. to vote on name change

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Voters in North Wildwood will decide if they still want their part of the barrier island to be called North Wildwood.

One hundred people have signed a petition to change the borough name to Anglesea.

That was the original name in 1885.

On Tuesday the city council voted unanimously in favor of adding a local referendum on the borough's name to the November ballot.
