Oscar De La Hoya considering 2020 presidential run

LAS VEGAS (WPVI) -- Boxing great Oscar De La Hoya is ready to rumble with the president.

He said there is a real possibility that he'll throw his name into the ring as a contender for the 2020 presidential race, KABC-TV reports.

De La Hoya made the announcement Tuesday in Las Vegas, where he's promoting an upcoming boxing match.

The 45-year-old Olympic champ said if he does run, he will run as a Democrat.
