President Trump's Twitter deactivated for 11 minutes by Twitter employee. Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4 p.m. on November 3, 2017.

If you tried checking President Donald Trump's Twitter account last night from 6:50 to 7:01 p.m. and got a message that it no longer exists, here is what went down.

No, the president wasn't hacked or his account deactivated.

He didn't take it down - but someone else did.

Turns out that person was a Twitter employee, who pulled the stunt on their last day with the social media company.

For 11 minutes, the president's account was down.

Once he was back online, President Trump tweeted about it, calling the culprit a rogue employee.

Twitter government, as it calls itself, tweeted an explanation that the person worked in customer support.

They've launch a full review and they are updating security measures to make sure this doesn't happen again.
